The de Merc Chamber Choir is a Registered Charity (number 1095387) and is affiliated to Making Music (the National Federation of Music Societies) which represents and supports amateur vocal and instrumental music groups throughout the United Kingdom.
Supported by Harlow Council.

The de Merc Chamber Choir is a small, versatile, mixed adult choir which performs mainly in West Essex/East Herts.

We are a friendly group, enjoying a wide-ranging and eclectic repertoire ranging from the 15th century to Swingle and Eric Whitacre. Most concerts are a cappella and often include forgotten or neglected classics of well-known composers, in addition to music by new and lesser-known composers.

The choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings between 8:00 - 10:00 pm in the church hall of St Mary at Latton church, located in The Gowers, Harlow. New members are welcome to take part in several practices prior to auditioning.

Please contact the secretary, Jane Fox jfoxsrn@ntlworld.com or phone the Musical Director, Adrian Jolliffe on 07763 183 252 in the first instance.
